The story of Local


Sustainable Connections mission: We create thriving communities through innovative ideas, collaboration and action. DoubleMRanch Design, along with Michelle Long and Derek Long created the first Fourth Corner Connector in 2001. What grew out of that vision backed by local business owners is what became the genesis of the Think Local mentality in Bellingham Washington and beyond. Over the next 16 years we worked together with the SC staff to create branded program materials that supported local businesses in their efforts to become economically and environmentally sustainable.

One such project, the Georgetown University Energy Prize of $5 million, a campaign known as the Bellingham Energy Prize is written about here.
