Designing a successful logo is easily the hardest thing most designers do. Assigning visual form to complex ideas, distilling a message to a single mark or grouping of words can look deceptively simple when it is done well. One has only to look critically at printed matter to see how often the process is misunderstood and fails. I strive for simple typographic solutions, simple gestural marks, basic shapes.
